The IT Story:
Kyle Denney is an expert Mac consultant with nearly a decade of technical experience. After serving as IT Director at Omnicom’s Dieste Harmel & Partners for five years, he joined Kinetic Technology Group, where he specializes in maintenance, repairs and optimization for both Mac and PC clients.
The Full Story:
Kyle graduated from Abilene High School with one career goal in mind: to become a rock star! First, he went to Austin to play in a series of bands, then back to Abilene to start a hair band à la Poison (he is still refusing to disclose the actual name of his group). From there, he moved to Hollywood and enrolled at the Musicians Institute, where he studied under several legendary drummers. Then he moved back to Austin to become a drummer in his friend’s new band. He ended up in Dallas one year later to join several more bands and tour the country as a sound engineer and drummer while attending Dallas County Community College for Music and Recording. So what does this have to do with computers? Nothing, but please read on.
Along Kyle’s journey, he met a wise friend who taught him the ways of the Mac. And, as it turned out, Mac consulting was somewhat more reliable than his previous career. But he still dabbles in the rocker lifestyle. He runs a home recording studio where he creates music for the Web, TV and radio. And he’s found a home in the incredibly talented band of Irving Bible Church – where he’s played drums for the past 12 years.
